Course Operations & Student Expectations

Here’s a quick overview to help you understand how the course works. You can view the full policy below.

LUDUS Art School courses are designed to support students in developing confidence, independence, and creative skill over time. The structure is flexible, but it does require regular engagement and personal responsibility.

Key points:

  • The course is self-paced, with clear guidance to help students structure their work

  • Lessons are broken into short, manageable steps to avoid overwhelm

  • Students are expected to complete independent work each week (typically 2–4 hours)

  • Check-ins take place every 2–4 weeks, depending on the level of support selected

  • Sessions are focused on guidance, feedback, and problem-solving, and students should come prepared

  • Communication takes place via Podia and email only (no WhatsApp or informal messaging)

  • Students may take part in a moderated online community for sharing work and feedback

  • LUDUS Art School is not an exam centre, but guidance and partner centre information are provided

This course works best when students engage consistently and take ownership of their progress. We are here to guide and support, but the learning process is a shared responsibility.
